SENSITIVE TO SPACE, CURRENT AND BUDGET
Size-wise, a PEPI Model J thermostat fits neatly into the end cap of this fractional horsepower DC motor.  The customer was able to select the right bimetallic element to provide the necessary balance between over-temperature and short circuit protection.  This is easy to do with PEPI devices and the result is a thermal protector providing overload protection without being mounted in the coils.  PEPI versatility leads to greater reliability at an affordable price.

A FAIL-SAFE THERMAL CONTROL SYSTEM
Sometimes electronic circuits fail.  This programmable household thermostat took this into account and added a PEPI Model A-2 thermostat as back-up circuit protection.  If the electronic circuit fails the Model A-2 operates as the primary furnace control to keep the temperature above 50°F and eliminate fear of frozen pipes breaking. The marriage of mechanical and electronic control technologies has produced a fail safe system to keep the heat on.

We recently cut a multi-step, multi-component, multi-day process down to a few minutes for a major manufacturer of battery charges. DON'T BE CAUGHT SHORT
A computer manufacturer needed short-circuit protection for a metal hydride battery pack.  We delivered PEPI Model V thermal controls with nickel strip leads already attached and wrapped in heat shrink tubing to help them streamline their production and cut costs.  The beveled edges of the PEPI Model V’s fit snugly between the individual cells of the battery pack and can provide both over-charge and short circuit protection within the pack.  The customer came out on the long end of the stick in terms of timing, cost and reliability.  You can, too.

NO SWEAT THERMAL CONTROLS
Natural sweat and condensation could affect circuit controls in this personal heating pad.  Temperatures also had to stay within a narrow operating range to maintain a constant temperatue in the application. The no sweat solution was a pair of PEPI Model J(A) snap action thermal controls in protective PVC pouches. The customer receives them calibrated and harnessed together.  Leads have factory-installed terminals, so all they have to do is snap them into the circuit.  No sweat.
